Q.

Can I make phone calls and send SMS?

A.

Regarding Sun-Net DATA SIM card, calls are only available through a prepaid IP number which needs Internet connection. Both international and domestic calls are possible. SMS is not available.
Regarding Sun-Net VOICE SIM card, phone calls and SMS are available. The calls and SMS fees are paid two months later.

Q.

How can I check how much data I've used this month?

A.

You can set it in your device (Data usage menu) or you can contact us by email or phone.

Q.

What happens when I reach the plan data limit?

A.

The Internet connection is still available but the connection top speed drops to 200 Kbps. No additional fee is charged. The conection speed goes back to normal the first day of the following month.

Q.

I've lost my SIM card. What should I do?

A.

Since a SIM card can not be reissued, you will need to apply for a new one.

Q.

How can I extend or cancel my contract?

A.

You can do it online. A contract extension application form must be sent at least one month before the end of the original contract. In any other case the extension application form will be rejected and an application for a new SIM card would be necessary.
In case of cancellation, a cancellation form must be sent at least one month before the desired expiry date.

Q.

What should I do if I replace my smartphone?

A.

Please, insert the SIM card in your new device and set the APN. Be sure that your new smartphone is compatible with NTT DOCOMO network. If you have any question about setting your SIM card, please take a look at our "Setting your SIM card" section.
