Differences and information on Sun-Net SIM card types
Physical SIM
Physical SIM is the most common type of SIM.
A physical SIM card is a tiny piece of plastic you
insert into your phone to connect to a mobile
network.
eSIM
An eSIM is a digital SIM card. You can download
and install an eSIM plan on your device, then
instantly connect to a mobile network.

● MNP reservation number cannot be issued for this plan.

・ Even in unlimited high-speed data areas, data speed may vary depending on location and signal conditions, such as in a subway, in a
basement, inside large commercial buildings, and radio wave conditions.
・ The bandwidth control will be applied from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to midnight.
・ If you have exceeded your data limit for the month, the maximum data speed will be 128 kbps.
・ The Internet connection is provided by Softbank, a major telecommunications carrier in Japan.
● Call charges and SMS sending/receiving charges
・ Call service (domestic) and SMS service (domestic or international) will be separately calculated and billed (NOT FREE).
・ The bills for call service (domestic) and SMS service (domestic or international) will be charged to your registered credit card three
months after the actual usage month.

● Continuation and Cancellation
・ If you wish to extend the plan, please apply for the extension through our official website one month before the contract expiration date.
If you have not applied for the extension by the period above, the SIM card will be automatically disposed of and will not function again. In
that case, you need to apply for the new SIM card, incurring an issuance fee of 3,300 yen (tax-in). Please note that the number of the newly
issued SIM card will be changed.
・For the mid-term cancellation, please note that the earliest cancel-able month is the next month. You need to apply for the cancellation
through our website beforehand.
● About eSIM
・Once you have made the required payment, you will be given a QR code (or activation code) and a confirmation code at the on-site SIM
session. You can use the eSIM only on one device. As such, one QR code can't be used multiple times or on multiple devices. Make sure to scan
the QR code and activate the eSIM on the device you intend to use it from. If you want to change the device you use, you will need a new QR
code. The fee for issuing a new QR code is 1,100 yen (tax included).。
