Our Policy on Customer Harassment

Established October 1, 2026  |  Sunrise Corporation (Sun-Net)

We are committed to contributing to a sustainable society and to providing our customers with high-quality services and products. We also believe that ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all of our employees is the foundation of good service.

We listen sincerely to the requests and opinions of our customers and business partners, and we respond promptly and in good faith. Questions, requests, and feedback are always welcome. At the same time, we will take a firm stance against behavior that violates the human rights of our employees or places an excessive burden on them (customer harassment), as set out below.

1. What We Consider Customer Harassment

Based on guidelines issued by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, customer harassment means behavior in which the means or manner of making a demand is inappropriate, taking into account whether the demand itself is reasonable, and which harms the working environment of our employees.

Examples

  • Violence, threats, extortion, verbal abuse, defamation, insults, or discriminatory remarks
  • Physical or psychological attacks, or intimidating behavior
  • Making demands while intoxicated, or demanding that an employee kneel or prostrate themselves
  • Continuous or persistent harassment, or holding employees for a long time (refusing to leave, excessively long phone calls, etc.)
  • Unjustified demands for money, excessive demands for free services, or demands for an apology without reasonable grounds
  • Spreading false information on social media or the internet, or posting employees' private information or photos or recordings taken without permission
  • Unreasonably blaming individual employees, or stalking them

2. How We Respond

If we determine that customer harassment has occurred, we may take the following actions.

  1. Refusing or limiting our response
Depending on the circumstances, we may decline to continue our business relationship, stop providing services, or refuse entry to our premises.
  2. Organizational response and cooperation with outside parties
Employees will not be left to handle such cases alone; the company will respond as an organization. In serious cases, we will consult the police, lawyers, or other experts and take firm action, including legal measures.

3. A Request to Our Customers and Business Partners

We will continue to value the trust of our customers above all and provide sincere service. Most of our customers already treat our staff with courtesy, and we sincerely thank you.

So that our employees can stay healthy, both physically and mentally, and continue to serve you with a smile, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
