Sun-Net Hikari contract conditions (New connections)

■About new applications
①It could take longer than usual to send the contract to our customers in case we receive a large number of applications at the same time.
②All personal information required by Sun-Net during the application will be subject to our privacy policy.
③We may not be able to contact our customers if there is any mistake in the application form. Please, check your personal information before applying.
④Please, register an email address in use. Also check that Sun-Net's emails are not set as spam. Otherwise we will not be able to contact you.
⑤If you are an actual Flet's Hikari customer and you are considering to change to Sun-Net Hikari, please check in advance all the necessary information 
about NTT East Japan and NTT West Japan.


■About the installation fee
①For actual Flet's Hikari customers: in case you want to switch to Sun-Net Hikari, construction fees will not occur as long as the line type keeps the same,
however if switching companies involves changing the line type, construction fees will be necessary.
Due to installation fees may vary depending on the construction, more details will be announced after applying.
②It may be necessary  to use special equipment in order to check if Sun-Net Hikari service is available in your area. Depending on the survey, the time before 
the service is provided may vary even inside Sun-Net Hikari's distribution area. We can not assure that the service can be provided before the survey.
③Different construction fees may be applied depending on the construction site.
④When the installation is carried out on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, a 3,000 yen (tax not included) fee will be charged.
⑤Both, specifications and content of service are subject to change without notice.

■About usage fee
①The usage fee consists of the following:
 ・Initial administrative fee
 ・Monthly fee
 ・Universal service fee
 ・Network equipment rental fee
 ・Construction cost
 ・Optional service usage fee (applied when using other services)
②Initial administrative fee
 ・Current Flet's Hikari customers: 3,000 yen (tax not included)
 ・For new suscribers to Sun-Net Hikari: 3,000 yen (tax not included)
③Monthly fee
 ・Sun-Net Hikari Apartment type: 3,800 yen (tax not included)
 ・Sun-Net Hikari House type: 4,800 yen (tax not included)
④Universal service fee
 In order to apply the necessary load for securing a stable provision of telecommunication services 
   stipulated by the Telecommunications Business Act, a fee determined for each company is charged.
⑤Network equipment rental fee
 ・Wireless router monthly fee: 200 yen (tax not included)
⑥Construction cost
 ・If construction is necessary house/apartment: 18,000 yen (tax not included)
 ・If construction is not necessary house/apartment: 2,000 yen (tax not included)
※If the customer wants to get the installation done during Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, 
     an extra 3,000 yen (tax not included) fee will be applied.
⑦Optional services
 The fee for each optional service is specified separately.
⑧About our billing system
 ・The invoicing begins the first month of use, during which, the user will only pay for the days contracted.
 ・In case the customer changes from another provider, the invoicing will begin on the day the registration procedure ends.
 ・Sun-Net invoicing system is prepaid. Invoices refer to the following month.
  The first payment includes the administrative initial fee, the universal service fee and the monthly fees
       for the current and the following month. Please, keep it in mind in advance.      


■Communication speed
①The maximum communication speed depends on the optical line type. The top speed for Flet's Hikari in the east Japan area is 1Gbps.
    For Giga, Smart type Giga and Line type check the Flet's Hikari Next super high speed type in west Japan area. 
②We will automatically control the connection speed of users with a particularly large traffic volume during rush hours in order 
   to offer an equal connection speed to all our customers. This control will stop as soon as the traffic congestion is over. 

■About minimum usage period and cancellation
①The minimum usage period for Sun-Net Hikari is 24 months. The month after the optical line service is opened counts as the first one.
②The last month of the minimum usage period is called the "renewal month". If no cancellation procesure is sended during that month, the 
    contract will be automatically renewed for another 12 months.
 Excluding the "renewal month",  a 9,000 yen (tax not included) payment is required at the time of the cancellation of this service.
